Hollis had to get an antibiotic shot. I was scarred. We were scarred together. Looks like his refusal of all things not milk caught up to him and his ears did not clear up. He is a mess, but an adorable little mess who now says “mommamommamomma.” Even though I know better, I still feel special that he says it. He also pulled himself up to a standing position yesterday but I’m pretty sure it was an antibiotic high, he has not since attempted it.

Wesley continue to ask a lot of questions. If you get frustrated he will say, “I’m just asking ‘why’ because I want to learn more.” Who can argue with that, sneaky little guy. He made all of his friends Valentine’s this year. We melted old crayons in heart shaped tins and made new crayons. I bought these dang heart shaped trays about 7 years ago when I just started teaching (I was far more ambitious those days). For 7 years I have watched Valentine’s come and go and have not used them. This year I used them, money well spent. Anyway, Wesley was so fascinated by the heart crayons he did not want to give them away. He organized them, made new shapes with them, lined them up, battled them, and cried about giving them away. He got to keep two. He gave away the rest. He has not touched them since. Haha, oh well. He did draw all of his friends special pictures on their hearts. Some people just got one line or a circle, some friends got more elaborate drawings. I think he was playing favorites.
